Lead Audio Validation and Test Engineer – £33.98/hr (Umbrella Rate – Inside IR35)

What You Will Do
- Plan and execute test programmes for automotive infotainment systems, with a focus on active NVH technologies.
- Define and apply testing specifications for both new and existing infotainment components.
- Identify and resolve issues, driving improvements in system and subsystem performance.
- Set up and maintain test rigs and environments for infotainment and audio system validation.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including hardware, software, and NVH specialists, to ensure integrated system validation.
- Document test procedures, configurations, and results with precision, ensuring alignment with automotive quality standards.
What You Will Bring
- Proven experience in testing automotive infotainment systems, ideally with active NVH technologies.
- Proficiency in debugging and analysis tools such as Wireshark, Vector tools (CANoe, CANalyzer), and Putty.
- Familiarity with automotive communication protocols including CAN, Ethernet (Some IP), and A2B (Automotive Audio Bus).
- Strong skills in audio systems and rig setup for validation.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automotive Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
