The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Technical Sales & Estimating person to join our team. This is a key role focused on retaining and developing our existing customer base while also identifying and winning new business.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand their technical needs and requirements.
- Specify suitable, often bespoke, engineering solutions.
- Prepare accurate competitive estimates and quotations on our bespoke software system.
- Research lead times and negotiate competitive sell prices to secure orders.
- Follow up on quotes and convert opportunities into confirmed orders.
- Maintain strong relationships with current clients and actively seek new business.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Occasionally visit customers to support project development and relationship building.

- Proven experience in technical sales, estimating, or a similar role within an engineering environment.
- A strong commercial acumen with a track record of sales success.

- Hours: Monday to Thursday: 09:00 β 17:00, Friday: 09:00 β 14:00
