What You Will Do:
- Coordinate and deliver Employee Relations Consultant support, with a primary focus on resolving manufacturing-related absence cases effectively.
- Provide timely advice on short- and long-term absence, ill-health matters, restricted worker cases, and other complex scenarios.
- Support line managers with absence-related disciplinary investigations and hearings, including dismissal and appeal, ensuring consistent process.
- Spot early intervention opportunities and implement tailored support measures to reduce absence duration and improve employee outcomes.
- Deliver absence management training to stakeholders across the manufacturing environment, building confidence and practical capability.
- Partner with Occupational Health to align support plans and drive improved absence timescales across manufacturing sites.
