What You Will Do:
As a Durability and Robustness Programme Leader, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that customer expectations for durability and robustness are met through innovative target setting, design development, and comprehensive testing.
- Supporting the delivery of all attribute requirement targets by project milestones.
- Developing detailed strategies and delivery plans for CAE, vehicle and system rig tests, and driven vehicle validation activities.
- Collaborating with system and component teams to define and maintain cascaded target requirements.
- Driving resolution of engineering challenges by working closely with component engineers and suppliers.
- Delivering technical recommendations and producing test and issue status reports.
- Capturing lessons learned from current vehicle projects and ensuring they are incorporated into future developments.
What You Will Bring:
- Proven knowledge or experience in engineering test activities and automotive technologies or systems.
- Strong project management skills, particularly in managing complex engineering test activities.
- A solid understanding of durability and strength principles, as well as systems engineering concepts.
- Experience in problem‑solving methodologies, including Root Cause Analysis and 8D.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, with familiarity in CAD visualisation systems being a plus.
