What You Will Do

  • Build and maintain a robust plan that aligns engineering work with programme timelines as an Instrumentation Planning Engineer.
  • Carry out preplanning by reviewing scope, resources, engineering materials, quantities, and financial impact to support accurate scheduling.
  • Produce weekly reports to visualise demand, capacity, and build progress for leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Review new build requests and ensure they are scheduled correctly within the published work plan, keeping plans up to date.
  • Track build status and task progression using a JIRA board and local tools, escalating issues early when required.
  • Identify instrumentation and material requirements, including long lead items, and support supplier quotations, ordering, and delivery coordination.

What You Will Bring

  • Knowledge of vehicle and HV battery systems, components, and instrumentation, with the confidence to apply it to planning decisions as an Instrumentation Planning Engineer.
  • Strong IT capability, particularly in Excel and Power Point, to a competent creator level for clear and persuasive reporting.
