We are seeking experienced multi-skilled engineers with either a mechanical or electrical bias to support a high-performing advanced manufacturing operation in Coventry.

Working within a technically challenging production environment, you'll play a key role in maintaining, improving and troubleshooting a wide range of manufacturing equipment and plant machinery. Shift Pattern

Rotating 3-shift pattern: Morning Shift, Afternoon Shift, Night Shift. Flexibility to work across all three shifts is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance activities across manufacturing plant and equipment
  • Respond to breakdowns and perform fault diagnosis to minimise downtime
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions
  • Support machinery upgrades, installations and continuous improvement projects
  • Install, commission and modify production equipment
  • Assist with factory layout changes and production line improvements
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
  • Work closely with production teams to maximise equipment availability and performance
  • Liaise with external contractors and suppliers when required

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Previous experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing, engineering or production environment
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Experience carrying out planned and reactive maintenance activities
  • Mechanical knowledge including: Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Fluid power systems, Steam systems
  • Electrical fault-finding experience
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering documentation
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance
  • Competent IT skills including Microsoft Office

Desirable

  • Manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, defence or high-volume production experience
  • Compression moulding equipment experience
  • Waterjet cutting equipment knowledge
  • City & Guilds, ONC, HNC or equivalent engineering qualification
  • Forklift Truck Licence
  • MEWP Licence
