As a Control Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for developing controls software for manufacturing equipment, providing technical support to engineers and customers, and managing system projects from initial concept through to delivery.
Control Systems Engineer Responsibilities:
- Designing electrical and control systems for material processing machinery
- Developing design concepts and producing technical drawings
- Managing system projects from initial concept through to implementation
- Understanding customer specifications and researching solutions to help develop new products
- Providing technical support to clients and the wider engineering teams
- Ensuring that developed systems are compliant with H&S standards
- Creating programmable logic controllers that meet the agreed technical solution
Control Systems Engineer Requirements:
- Must be an experienced Control Systems Engineer
- Proficient with electronic and electrical software
- Experienced in programming PLCs such as Siemens
- Understanding of composites, material processing and polymer manufacturing would be beneficial
