Do: Provide day-to-day HSE guidance across two operational sites, acting as the primary advisor to operational, engineering, and leadership teams.
Drive a proactive safety culture through visible leadership, employee engagement, and effective communication.
Conduct inspections, audits, and workplace assessments, ensuring risk assessments, method statements, and permit-to-work arrangements stay current and effective.
Lead investigations into accidents, incidents, near misses, and non-conformances, identifying root causes and ensuring robust corrective actions.
Support safe working practices for manufacturing processes involving composites, assembly, testing, lifting operations, machinery, and hazardous substances, with compliance to COSHH, PUWER, and LOLER.
Maintain environmental compliance across both sites by supporting waste management, recycling initiatives, and environmental improvement programmes.
