The Business Operations Coordinator role offers exposure to manufacturing planning, business operations, programme delivery, finance administration and continuous improvement activities within a fast-paced engineering organisation.

What You Will Do

  • Support departmental budget administration and financial tracking for the Advanced Planning & Business team.
  • Assist with purchase orders, invoice processing, and regular financial reporting.
  • Coordinate training activities, bookings, records, and learning compliance requirements.
  • Maintain Share Point sites, trackers, and departmental business records to keep information accurate and accessible.
  • Help coordinate meetings, manage action tracking, and support governance activities.
  • Contribute to reporting, presentations, resource planning, and continuous improvement initiatives that reduce administrative burden.

What You Will Bring

  • Strong organisational and administrative capability with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience of finance system order approvals and movement of funds.
  • Confident use of Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and Teams, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable working with financial and operational data, including budget tracking and purchase order and invoice management.
  • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build relationships across stakeholders.
  • Experience working within a manufacturing, engineering or programme office environment is advantageous.
  • A qualification related to Business, Finance, Accounting, Project Management or Engineering is desirable (or working towards a professional business or finance qualification).
