What You Will Do:
β Monitor and minimise variability in wind noise performance across current production vehicle lines.
β Act as the in-plant representative for the wind noise attribute, ensuring customer satisfaction in the manufacturing environment.
β Detect deviations from attribute performance targets through objective measurement, subjective driving, static assessments, and assembly process checks.
β Conduct initial root cause investigations and drive issues through to resolution with the relevant teams.
β Collaborate closely with the core aeroacoustics team to align on future product launches and ongoing quality actions for current products.
What You Will Bring:
β Proven experience in an automotive production plant quality role.
β Strong problem-solving skills, with expertise in methodologies such as Six Sigma, 8D, or Root Cause Analysis.
β A full driving licence and the ability to assess driven attributes subjectively.
β Familiarity with plant attributes such as squeaks and rattles, wind noise, water testing, or NVH development and measurement.
β Hands-on experience with vehicle testing, assessment, or automotive component development.
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring that the company\βs vehicles meet and exceed customer expectations. Your work will directly contribute to maintaining the high standards of quality and innovation that define the company, while supporting its mission to deliver exceptional products to the market.
Location: This role is based in Solihull, with the flexibility to work across other key sites, including Gaydon, Coventry, and Halewood.
