What You Will Do
- Support the development of genuine accessories across electrical (bias), mechanical, and trim disciplines (with flexibility to work across areas).
- Confirm fitment and application of accessories to ensure correct performance on vehicles.
- Ensure development meets technical, cost, and timing targets, keeping delivery on track.
- Support accessories adoption for SV (Special Versions) vehicles, helping move from design intent to real usage.
- Handle relevant market and quality enquiries, supporting resolution with engineering input.
- Complete successful design reviews at key stages, delivering outcomes aligned to project milestones, KPIs, and SLAs.
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor Honours Degree in Engineering and a minimum of 3 years automotive OEM and/or relevant supplier experience.
- Strong CAD capability, ideally with NX, supported by confident engineering workflow and documentation habits.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional engineering teams.
- A confident, proactive approach, working on own initiative within engineering standards and quality expectations.
- Solid understanding of engineering processes, supporting materials and equipment requirements provided by the company during the assignment.
This Design Services Engineer - Accessories supports a Centre of Excellence focused on design and development of vehicles and integrated functions including design & development, purchasing, production engineering, and QA.
By delivering on-time accessories against key milestones, you'll directly contribute to smoother development cycles and high-quality outcomes for European vehicle programmes.
