Are you an experienced Production Supervisor looking for a stable nights-based role with a growing manufacturing and recycling business?
We're seeking a hands‑on Production Supervisor to lead a team of 4 operatives on a permanent night shift. This is an excellent opportunity to join a specialist recycling operation that processes UPVC windows and offcuts, transforming waste materials into reusable plastic pellets for manufacturing industries.
The Role
- Supervising and supporting a team of 4 production operatives
- Monitoring production output and ensuring targets are achieved
- Machine monitoring, adjustment, and basic setting
- Managing time and attendance
- Promoting and enforcing Health & Safety standards
- Reporting shift performance to the Production Manager
The Environment
The site operates a range of equipment including:
- Shredding machinery
- Metal separation systems
- Material handling equipment
- Plastic extrusion machinery
What We're Looking For
- Previous supervisory, team leader, or shift leader experience is essential
- Production, manufacturing, processing, or material handling background
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety in a manufacturing environment
- Recycling, material reclamation, plastics, or extrusion experience would be advantageous
- Current or past roles include, senior operator, shift supervisor, shift team leader, production team leader, manufacturing supervisor, manufacturing team leader, production supervisor
