Production Assembler / Wiring Technician

Location: Newport

Temp to Perm- 12 weeks

Salary: £12.80 per hour

Shift: Monday to Friday- 7:30am – 4:30pm

We are recruiting for a hands‑on Production Assembler to join a friendly and growing team on a Monday to Friday day shift.

This role involves assembling and soldering wiring harnesses for a range of specialist equipment. While soldering forms part of the role, the products are bespoke and varied, making it much easier to learn through practical training than by following a standard job description.

What you'll be doing:

  • Soldering and assembling wiring harnesses
  • Building and testing a variety of product kits
  • Working from instructions and training provided
  • Maintaining high levels of quality and attention to detail
  • Learning three different product builds over time

What we're looking for:

  • Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to concentrate for extended periods
  • Someone who can pick up new skills and training quickly
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Previous assembly, soldering or electrical experience would be advantageous
