POSITION: The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for selling our Software, Hardware and Services, and reports to the National Sales Manager. It will be the Account Manager’s role to ensure that all agreed sales targets are met, or exceeded, in their allocated region. For this vacancy the region is Scotland. The Regional Sales Manager will generate business through direct selling to new business prospects and upselling to current customers. Prospecting, conducting sales campaigns and networking with contacts in the industry will all assist in delivering the annual net revenue sales target.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Account management of and upselling to a group of Key Accounts in a target region
  • Providing excellent customer service to clients over the phone and in person
  • Develop and maintain a sales pipeline of sufficient size to achieve agreed sales targets, through lead acquisition both directly and alongside the marketing function.
  • Record and manage all opportunities in SalesForce
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the Company’s product portfolio and awareness of competitor products
  • Maintaining an awareness of industry trends, particularly within the University and Further Education sector
  • Support in the acquisition of new logo Further Education business from the competition
  • Establish and maintain strategic relationships, alliances, and networks within the industry as well as with other key stakeholders to generate sales leads
  • Attend industry events as required from time to time
  • Assist Finance with Billing and Invoice queries.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience selling software solutions within the leisure industry is desirable
  • Proven record in selling business application software
  • Relevant professional sales training and experience
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to close sales
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation communications skills
  • The ability to build and foster business relationships
  • Good understanding of technology and how it is applied in business
  • A moderate degree of computer literacy and technical competency
  • Demonstrable evidence of organizing customer accounts and projection implementation.
