Position Summary

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Project Manager will play a crucial role in delivering seamless event registration services and technology solutions to organisers. This hands-on role requires an experienced and highly organised individual, who can manage projects from post-sale to event completion, ensuring smooth implementation, high client satisfaction and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the end-to-end delivery of registration services for multiple events, ensuring all milestones are met.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing expert advice on best practices in event registration and data management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to configure and test registration platforms to meet client requirements.
  • Identify potential risks and proactively resolve challenges before they impact event delivery.
  • Ensure data security and compliance with GDPR and other relevant regulations.
  • Oversee pre-event planning, including leading pre-event meetings, briefing freelance staff, and ensuring all requirements are met.
  • Travel to events as required to oversee onsite registration and develop lasting relationships with our organisers.
  • Work closely with event organisers, venues, and third-party suppliers to ensure seamless integration of registration services.
  • Provide post-event analysis and reporting to clients, offering insights and recommendations for future improvements.
  • Contribute to the development of best practices for event registration and project management.
  • Gather client feedback and implement improvements to enhance service delivery.
  • Maintain an awareness of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings.

Helpful But Not Essential

  • Previous experience in managing registration services or technology.
  • Previous experience in the events industry.
  • Understanding of event registration platforms, ticketing systems, and onsite check-in processes.
  • Knowledge of data management, GDPR compliance and reporting tools.
  • Relevant degree or qualification in Project Management (PRINCE2, PMP).
  • Previous experience working with event technology such as badge printing NFC/RFID, or lead retrieval tools.

  • Previous experience in a similar job position.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.
