As we continue to develop, we are looking to recruit a 1st Line Support Consultant to support and delight our customers and to be an integral part of our Support Team, who are a friendly and helpful bunch, enjoy a bit of banter and love getting stuff done.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Delivering training programmes both face-to-face and online to meet and exceed our customers’ needs and requirements.
  • Consult with customers to provide advice on configuration and best use of Fitronics product range, across the industry.
  • Carry out training needs analysis.
  • Create and deliver training plans, including online and eLearning plans as part of overall project delivery.
  • Production of system specification, business process review and other documentation as required.
  • Development of training course material as required, including online and eLearning material.
  • Ensuring the learning environment and resources support learner needs.
  • Assist in the training of Fitronics employees as and when required.
  • Provide Helpdesk support to Customer base as and when required.
  • Assist Sales as a product expert and in identifying opportunities for additional revenue generation.
  • Provide product expertise to Product Development, QA and Support teams.
  • Work closely with the wider Professional Services team and other business functions for successful project delivery.
  • Contribute as required by your Line Manager, to relevant weekly/monthly reports on the activities of the Training Team.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • A thorough knowledge of the MS Office suite (Including Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
  • Experience designing and delivering IT skills training to a wide range of users, including creative input in training development.
  • Excellent training and presentation skills.
  • Quick to pick up and apply new functional, product and / or technical knowledge and skills.
  • Highly desirable is an operational knowledge of Fitronics product range and the UK Health & Leisure industry.

  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills, both for training delivery and working with customers, partners and colleagues.
  • Excellent presentation skills and an ability to convey information in a clear, concise, fluent, structured and unambiguous way.
  • Passionate about delivery and the user experience.
  • The ability to adapt teaching and learning techniques ‘on the fly’ to support varying degrees of delegate.
  • An appreciation and empathy for non-technical customers in a fast paced, consumer-facing environment.
  • High degree of creativity, initiative and self-motivation to work autonomously producing highly accurate work.
  • Ability to maintain composure when under pressure or faced with difficult situations.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Good team player and able to maintain strong, professional interdepartmental relationships.
  • Willingness to apply extra effort from time to time and occasionally work unsociable hours to meet customer requirements.
