Jon Richard is a leading fashion jewellery company based in South Manchester. We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Buyers Admin Assistant to join our Head Office team.
Key Objective: Provide admin support & assistance to the Buying Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all administration for the team is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Manage live purchase orders through the product life cycle.
- Liaising with Buying/Merchandising to ensure product is delivered according to the critical path.
- Ensuring delivery information is up to date and correct in all relevant systems.
- Support the team with relevant administrative tasks including, actioning any order amendments under the direction of the B&M team.
- Managing packaging orders and ensuring this reaches the supplier in accordance with the critical path.
- Supporting weekly trade through running best seller reports.
- Preparing samples/reports for internal/external meetings.
- Maintaining the departments samples and processing new development.
- Liaising with suppliers daily.
- Liaising with other department functions as required (Merchandising, warehouse, finance and marketing).
- Supporting with store/customer queries in an effective and timely manner.
What we need from you:
- Fashion Buying degree or equivalent.
- Passionate about gaining experience and developing a career in Buying.
- Strong organisation and administration skills.
- Proactive, hard-working, and self-motivated.
- Ability to prioritise and manage own workload.
- Strong attention to detail, to ensure all the important details such as selling price, shipment dates and product attributes are precise.
