We’re looking for a Golf Fitness Coach to join our team in Dronfield and play a meaningful role in helping golfers move, feel, and play better for longer. This is a part-time employed role (10–20 hours/week), but we’re open to full-time straight away for the right person. Either way, our goal is to transition to full-time as soon as possible — this is a long-term opportunity, not just a few sessions a week.

You’ll work closely with Jon Hodgkinson and our small, committed team to deliver an exceptional experience to golfers — helping them regain distance, move pain-free, and enjoy the game they love for as long as possible. It’s a rare opportunity to build a deeply rewarding career in the fitness space — with the chance for the role to evolve as the business continues to grow.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Delivering 1-on-1 and small group coaching sessions
  • Leading new client assessments and onboarding
  • Creating and updating personalised training programmes
  • Tracking progress and maintaining clear client notes
  • Supporting events (e.g. speed and mobility assessments)
  • Optionally: contributing to remote programming or content creation

This Role Is For You If…

  • You love both golf and fitness
  • You’re warm, grounded, and build trust easily
  • You’re motivated, organised, and don’t need chasing
  • You enjoy working with older clients — not just elite athletes
  • You take pride in doing great work, every day
  • You’re looking for a role where you can grow alongside the business

This Role Isn’t Right If…

  • You want to build your own business on the side
  • You’re only interested in high-performance sport
  • You’re not open to early starts or occasional weekends
  • You need constant direction to stay focused
  • You find it difficult to connect with older, affluent clients

Who We’re Open To

  • Certified PTs or S&C coaches who play golf
  • Golfers with great presence and communication, who want to become qualified coaches (we’ll support this path for the right person)

You don’t need to know everything — but you do need to bring energy, learn fast, and care about the people you coach.

What We’re Offering

  • Part-time employment (10–20 hours/week) with a clear path to full-time — or the option to start full-time immediately for the right person
  • £26,000–£31,000 FTE — pro rata based on hours and experience
  • A premium, golf-specific training environment — including a private simulator
  • Clients who show up, stick around, and genuinely want to improve
  • Mentorship from one of the UK’s most experienced golf fitness coaches
  • Support with professional development and qualifications
  • A clear path to full-time employment — we want this to become your career, not just a side gig
  • A rare opportunity to build a meaningful, financially rewarding career in fitness
  • The chance to grow into a key team member as the business expands
  • Private medical insurance
