We are on the look out for experienced collections advisors to join an established Financial Services company, with a super friendly and supportive team, in Cardiff. Here’s a bit more information:

  • Location: Cardiff Hybrid (3 days per week in the office)
  • Salary: £25,500 to £27,500 pa (DOE) + annual performance rated bonus
  • Hours: 35 hours per week contract, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (with some flexibility required)

What does the job entail?

As an experienced Collections Advisor, you will already know the importance of delivering amazing levels of customer service to customers who have fallen behind on their monthly repayments. In addition, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Having effective conversations to create a manageable solution that is best for both the customer and the bank
  • Taking the time to understand the customer’s individual situation, showing empathy and respect and providing fair outcomes and positive experiences throughout
  • Ensuring a fair and ethical approach - helping each and every customer on their road to financial recovery

In order to hit the ground running in this role, you should come from a background of regulated financial services collections and be passionate about supporting customers, including those who are vulnerable. Recent experience as a collections advisor is essential for this role.
