As Creative Shoot Manager you lead and inspire the photoshoot team to define, develop and deliver all company-wide photography and videography for both B2B and B2C. You collaborate with key internal stakeholders such as our HOC, Production Manager, Retouch team, Lead Designers, Content Manager, Marketing and ecom teams to ensure company vision is brought to life across all our touchpoints whilst reflecting commercial needs. You are responsible for managing the shoot team to elevate and deliver high level photography and videography to drive the brands forward. You will use your high-level strategic thinking to proactively deliver key brand campaigns, content and ecom and ensure brand consistency across all platforms.

HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE
- Working with the HOC and Production Manager on all seasonal campaign, content and ecom shoots, working closely with our graphic designers, brand marketing teams, content manager and shoot team.
- Overseeing wardrobe styling with in-house team to ensure we bring vision of the brand customer to life through relevant styling.
- Develop photography direction on lighting, working closely with Senior Photographer to elevate the brand imagery and continuously look to develop and introduce industry level lighting set ups.
- Develop videography direction on storyboarding, lighting and edits, working closely with the Videographers to elevate the brand video content, managing the team and continuously driving creative output forward.
- Manage and support internal shoot team with capacity planning, workload management and delivery of assets in a timely manner to meet deadlines.
- Working closely with the HOC to understand the creative direction of each shoot, supporting with creating any creative docs needed and developing concepts.
- In collaboration with HOC, interpreting and evolving creative briefs, working closely with Graphic Design and Content teams to bring creative concepts to life, with support from photographer, videographer and stylist.
- Responsible for creating all shot lists and shoot bibles for shoots to ensure effective planning of relevant, fit for purpose assets and deliverables can be utilised accurately post shoot cross-channels.
- Using commercial knowledge to inform relevant shots and determine necessary deliverables needed across B2B and B2C.
- Collaborate and work closely with Sales & VM team for delivery of in store images.
- Collaborate and work closely with buying and product design teams to have thorough understanding of all key product and seasonal product messages.
- Managing the photoshoot team including Photographers, Videographers, Stylists to ensure delivery of all new season product and campaign imagery and on set to ensure shoots run seamlessly.
- When HOC isn’t present on shoots, Creative Shoot Manager to oversee all creative, directing shoot team and managing selects process on set.
- Organising and overseeing the selects sign off process with HOC.
- Supporting photographer with initial retouch notes decks for handover to retouch team, giving clear retouch direction to ensure all relevant retouch notes are marked up on assets, including notes on grading and notes capture the vision for the shoot and any product amends.
- Responsible for ensuring imagery being captured fits the correct crops, correctly reflects the concept and number of shots, captured as efficiently as possible.
- Responsible for troubleshooting on set; spot sample mistakes, if product sent is incorrect, address it quickly. Able to resolve issues to avoid impact on shoot timings and cost. Have knowledge of key stakeholder specific requirements on set.
- Supporting shoot and production team with loading and unloading of van supporting with sample management for shoots. Expected to help drive the shoot van to and from set on occasion with other team members.
- Responsible for delivering still images for printed material e.g. marketing collateral across all stores, catalogues and events and still images and moving assets for digital channels ensuring assets are fit for multi-channel end use.
- Responsible for end-to-end lifecycle of all imagery, auditing seasonally on asset use and constantly evaluating best practice for finding efficiencies in shoots and asset management.
- Responsible for photography and videography for ecom, model, still life and cut outs.
- Responsible for post-production process including image selects and video edits incl music and effectively managing the sign off process with relevant stakeholders e.g. HOC, CD, store teams.
- Developing and maintaining communication processes with the design team, enabling speed, creativity and agility and communicate with multiple departments including but not limited to; Marketing, Product Design, Ecommerce.
- Supporting with Critical paths working closely with Shoot Production Manager and Creative Project Manager to ensure team scheduling is accurate and capacity is met and managed.
- Keep up to date with competitors’ activity and try to look at better ways of shooting to keep ahead in the marketplace to drive sales and brand awareness.
THE TALENT YOU'LL BRING
- Proven experience creating and maintaining successful campaigns and imagery within the retail sector across UK, Europe. Experience within USA would be desirable.
- Has been responsible for executing and delivering successful photoshoots from ecom to campaign. Production experience of shoots is ideal.
- Significant experience working on web design, digital marketing and print projects.
- Ability to balance creative output with commercial thinking.
- Highly creative - a conceptual thinker with strong design deliverability.
- Strong art direction abilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail, communication in a clear and concise manner.
- Excellent understanding of design software Adobe Photoshop and InDesign is essential.
- Experience using Capture One is essential.
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management and organisational abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects within tight deadlines.
- Excellent communicator and highly organised with collaborative approach.
- Confident with communicating with Senior Management, Heads of department and Directors.
- Has UK driving license and ability to drive manual.
