This position is available as either a full-time or part-time role. Our client is a proud independently owned retail jeweller with a long tradition of serving their locality with a carefully selected portfolio of watch and jewellery items. Opportunities for this client have never been as bright. The company has recently invested further in their infrastructure, widened their product specialism, and enhanced their jewellery and watch aftersales services now available in-store.
Ambitious and keen to grow their customer service reactivity in-store, now is the perfect time to welcome a talented sales professional to their much-revered sales floor team.
Job Role: There is an increasing opportunity to be a specialist consultant; therefore, your default career setting is to be keen to learn and take on greater store responsibilities. Brands, whether timepieces or fine jewellery, are keen to be presented in a manner reflective of their distinctive manufacturing kudos, which you respect and are eager to oblige. You are proactive by nature, effervescent in person, efficient online or virtually, and take pride in genuinely delivering the best store service.
Team play in-store is essential. All are encouraged to support each other’s transaction successes, ensuring that each purchasing experience is at the optimum level of customer satisfaction possible. Full comprehensive trade training is available, which may include coaching from existing senior personnel alongside individuals taking the initiative to follow online tutoring provided by select supplier partners. Career-wise, there are opportunities to push towards taking responsibility for a certain product area/brand or even lead a future store sales and marketing initiative.
Requirements:
- If prospective candidates have enjoyed selling and serving clientele within the watch and jewellery marketplace, this previous experience is helpful. However, many candidates have successfully transferred their best attributes to the jewellery trade from other spheres of retailing, including premium/luxury consumer goods.
- Individuals moving from a five-star hospitality environment with a strong appreciation of delivering the ultimate customer experience are also welcomed.
- Your skills should be communication/selling led, and you must retain pertinent product information to recall appropriately for each differing client need.
- You should be well-organised, orderly, and compliant when observing best sales protocols.
