One arena that has always been a commercial strength is their own in-house workshop where they offer their clientele from far & wide first-class jewellery repairs alongside a prestige bespoke jewellery design and commission service. An opportunity now exists to join their business to further add personnel strength, craftsmanship depth & breadth to ensure that the influx of repairs and commissions are undertaken in a timely manner as is their corporately desired deserve.
Job Role:
Working alongside a family member β their Head Goldsmith, this opportunity is felt to offer a fantastic platform from where your bench talents can potentially shine & gain recognition.
The variety of bench challenge canβt be underestimated and alongside everyday constant jewellery repairs & restoration there is the opportunity to design, create, and see through to completion one-off commissions that are regularly undertaken.
Increasingly the business is seeing ever greater client briefing in full re-design & jewellery restoration and as they possess in-house a CAD design facility these client consultations are again ever more frequent.
Requests for diamond and precious gemstone jewellery continue to be strong & for those bench jewellers / goldsmiths the gamut of further manufacturing challenge really then opens up. It would be expected that such bespoke commissions could be, over time, briefed to yourself and likewise be handcrafted fully by you in-house.

It is felt the applicant should have professional Jewellery Manufacturing training and ideally have already proved themselves across several everyday bench disciplines. These include resizing, re-tipping, polishing, rhodium plating, stone replacement, and pearl re-threading β we are sure there is more! Although not an exhaustive list if there are areas that our client can support / finish off your skill learning to be best of class they would happily undertake this personal training mission for the collective good.
