JOB ROLE: * The ideal candidate will possess a passion for jewellery creation. * You will perform a variety of jewellery repairs, ranging from basic to complex tasks. * You will assemble and create bespoke jewellery designs to client specifications. * You will work with a variety of materials, including precious metals and gemstones. * You must ensure that all work meets the highest standards of craftsmanship and quality. * You will maintain and operate goldsmithing tools and machinery, including torches, soldering equipment, and polishing machines. * You will provide guidance and advice to clients on design, material choices, and repair options. REQUIREMENTS: * You should be a career goldsmith with a growing portfolio of work that you can showcase. * You must have in-depth knowledge of goldsmithing techniques and tools. * Proficiency in working with various materials, including precious metals and gemstones, is required. * You must demonstrate excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality craftsmanship. * Familiarity with gemstone identification and grading is necessary. * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential to interact effectively with clients and team members. * You should be able to manage your time effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines. * Experience in using CAD software for jewellery design would be preferable.
