CLIENT: Luxury Piercing & Permanent Jewellery Brand
LOCATION: Liverpool ONE, Merseyside
SALARY: Market Competitive Salary
Designing, innovating, and elevating piercing jewellery since the 90s, this client is clearly moving forward. Due to the growing market interest in their brand's services and product speciality, a new Studio/Concession will soon open within an iconic department store. In the future, visiting personal shoppers will enhance their jewellery purchasing experience by receiving curated advice, professional piercing, and bespoke welding services. The client's ear piercing jewellery collection includes earrings, chains, bracelets, necklaces, anklets, and charms.
JOB ROLE:
- The business is seeking a proven Sales Supervisor/Assistant Manager to support the Retail Sales Manager in achieving optimal sales and service outcomes in this soon-to-open retail location.
- You will already possess a talent for motivating people—engaging with employees and customers alike—and will consistently strive to maximise sales and salon turnover.
- While in-store, you will be proactive in identifying areas for improvement. You will feel comfortable directing staff but, when needed, are also happy to roll up your sleeves and take action yourself.
- It’s expected that you will share management responsibilities when the Retail Sales Manager is absent. This leadership transition should be seamless.
- This role is second-in-command and may involve taking charge at the helm frequently, so the ideal candidate should be prepared to take on more responsibilities than typically expected.
REQUIREMENTS:
- You must be a fluent communicator who can quickly take over trading responsibilities and continue implementing and overseeing best trading practices in-store.
- You will be adept at delegating tasks, and those around you will admire your determination and ‘can-do’ attitude to maintain optimum trading conditions.
- While familiarity with jewellery merchandise would be an advantage, experience in piercing processes is not required.
- You should be direct in communication but also empathetic towards those you work alongside, able to subtly encourage the best collective performance.
- You will naturally thrive in sales and customer service, enjoying the opportunity to create a memorable visitor experience for all the right reasons.
SUMMARY:
- This role offers great potential to boost your retail management confidence, as you will regularly cover for the Senior Manager.
- The goal for all is leadership continuity, coupled with developing a new store concept from its inception to becoming the best in its class.
- It’s a challenging yet rewarding opportunity, and this level of achievement has already been realised elsewhere.
