As Project Manager, you'll oversee the planning, execution, and optimisation of the deployment of JOLT’s Electric Vehicle and Advertising units (EVA). This role involves strategic coordination with various teams and external partners to ensure the successful rollout of charging and advertising infrastructure across target locations. You will endeavour to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.

Site selection

  • Assist the site acquisition process by providing insights into the technical and operational feasibility of potential sites, ensuring that identified locations can be efficiently integrated into the network.
  • Work closely with the Commercial team and Legal to ensure that contracts with new sites align with technical requirements, installation timelines, and maintenance expectations.
  • Liaise with installation partners to ensure that new locations pursued are not only commercially viable but also operationally practical and align with the strategic placement of EVAs.
  • Support internal Investment Committee (IC) and business case approvals with feedback following site assessment.

Project Management

  • Engage with local stakeholders, including city planners, utility companies, property owners, and community representatives to gauge support and identify any potential challenges early in the development process.
  • Determine the technical specifications for the EVA infrastructure, including charger/product type, power requirements, and connectivity features.
  • Manage and monitor key documentation to support project delivery.

Construction & Commissioning

  • Coordinate all phases: permitting, civil works, electrical installation, grid connection, EVA installation and commissioning.
  • Manage partners and suppliers to align to a communicated schedule, adapting and communicating changes as needed.
  • Implement standardised deployment methods to ensure speed, scalability, and repeatable quality.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Project coordination, reporting, regulatory compliance checks, deployment oversight.

Budget Management

  • Lead RFI/RFQ processes, negotiate contracts and enforce EVA installation and quality standards.
  • Monitor costs and spending throughout the project to ensure set budgets are met.
  • Responsible for project budget line-item management and performance.
  • Provide reporting and financial performance analysis on request.

Safety & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure safe working methods are developed and followed throughout the installation process.
  • Implement and maintain quality control processes for network installations to protect assets and minimise delay/damage risks.
  • Conduct post-deployment assessments and address performance issues.
  • Conduct safety & quality assessments, performance monitoring and issue resolution.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years' experience deploying EV charging, outdoor advertising, telecoms, or comparable multi-site infrastructure.
  • Proven track record delivering large-scale, multi-site deployment programmes.
  • Strong project management expertise with large-scale infrastructure focus.
  • Solid understanding of electrical systems, grid connections, civil works, and commissioning.
  • Excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills, including performance conversations with external partners.
  • Skilled negotiator, comfortable managing contracts, suppliers, and contractors.
  • Experience with project tracking and installation management platforms.
