Base Pay Range
Competitive salary up to £55,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead the mechanical design of automated and manual loading systems from concept to production.
- Oversee detailed design, ensuring manufacturability, quality, and compliance with ISO9001, ISO14001, and CE standards.
- Mentor junior design engineers and embed best practices.
- Standardise and optimise designs through continuous improvement and value engineering.
- Provide technical support and analysis for root‑cause investigations and design improvements.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams globally to align projects with company strategy.
- Support the implementation of DriveWorks and structured design systems.
What You’ll Bring
- Degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in mechanical design, ideally within manufacturing, automation, or industrial machinery.
