This is a full time, hybrid role involving a minimum of 3 x office days per week at our pet-friendly support office in Waltham Abbey (Essex) and up to 2 x days per week from home (or other Jollyes location as preferred). 37.5 hours per week.
The Role – Merchandiser
Join our dynamic merchandising team and help shape the future of our product ranges! As a Merchandiser, you’ll work closely with Buying and Supply Chain to understand trade plans and ensure the stock plan supports them, building customer-focused ranges that drive sales, maximise space, and boost profitability. This role sits within our Commercial team, supporting our Merchandising Manager to achieve KPI’s on departmental sales, margin performance and stock levels. A full job description is available on request, but to summarise your key responsibilities:
- Support strategic planning and range development
- Preparing reports and analysing performance and forecast demand to optimise stock levels
- Manage pricing, promotions, and product lifecycle from launch to exit
- Collaborate across teams to ensure smooth operations and great store availability
- Present trade insights and drive actions from weekly performance reviews
- Maintain accurate systems and trackers to support decision-making
The Skills – Job title
To be successful in this role, you’ll need the following skills, experience and qualities:

- Must have Merchandising experience preferably in a similar sized retail business (e.g. 100+ stores), understanding how support teams work together and collaborate.
- Ability to analyse and interpret large volumes of data
- Proficient in MS Office (specifically Excel)
