What You'll Be Doing
As part of the SMT, you'll carry out general, non-specialist maintenance tasks to help keep our restaurant running smoothly and safely. You won't be doing electrical or gas work - just the practical stuff that keeps everything ticking along. This is a permanent, dedicated role (not a flex-up position), with pay aligned to our Crew Leader rate. You'll receive full training, and you'll be a key part of the store team.
Your Day to Day Responsibilities May Include:
- Assembling furniture and fixtures
- Installing and mounting non-electrical equipment
- Changing light bulbs (not full fixtures)
- Performing basic plumbing and carpentry (e.g. fixing taps, unclogging drains, tightening fittings)
- Touch-up painting and general decorating
- Routine machine cleaning (e.g. sundae machines, fryer boil-outs)
- Moving and handling furniture or heavy equipment safely
- Checking and maintaining tools and non-electrical equipment
- Troubleshooting basic equipment issues (e.g. reset procedures)
- Supporting a safe, clean and functional store environment
What We're Looking For
- Practical maintenance experience is helpful - but not essential
- Confident using basic tools and carrying out minor repairs
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- A responsible, safety-first approach to work
- Physically able to lift, move, and carry items safely
- Eligible to work in the UK
