What You’ll Be Doing

As part of the SMT, you’ll carry out general, non‑specialist maintenance tasks to help keep our restaurant running smoothly and safely. You won’t be doing electrical or gas work – just the practical stuff that keeps everything ticking along. This is a permanent, dedicated role (not a flex‑up position), with pay aligned to our Crew Leader rate. You’ll receive full training, and you’ll be a key part of the store team.

Your Day to Day Responsibilities May Include:

  • Assembling furniture and fixtures
  • Installing and mounting non‑electrical equipment
  • Changing light bulbs (not full fixtures)
  • Performing basic plumbing and carpentry (e.g., fixing taps, unclogging drains, tightening fittings)
  • Touch‑up painting and general decorating
  • Routine machine cleaning (e.g., sundae machines, fryer boil‑outs)
  • Moving and handling furniture or heavy equipment safely
  • Checking and maintaining tools and non‑electrical equipment
  • Troubleshooting basic equipment issues (e.g., reset procedures)
  • Supporting a safe, clean and functional store environment

What We’re Looking For

  • Practical maintenance experience is helpful but not essential
  • Confident using basic tools and carrying out minor repairs
  • Good problem solving skills and attention to detail
  • A responsible, safety‑first approach to work
  • Physically able to lift, move, and carry items safely
  • Eligible to work in the UK

Note: This role does not involve electrical or gas system work. All work must be within the scope of training and health & safety guidelines.
