Role Description
This is a full‑time, on‑site role for an EV Charge Point Maintenance Electrician at Joju Solar, based in the south of England. The majority of sites are in Dorset / Wiltshire / Hampshire / Somerset. The role involves performing electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on EV charge points. You will ensure the optimal functioning of charging infrastructure deployed across various locations. The role also includes diagnosing and resolving electrical faults, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintaining accurate maintenance records.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Electrical Maintenance and a strong understanding of electricity and electrical systems.
- Skilled in Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in EV charge points and associated systems.
- Experience in Maintenance & Repair with a focus on mechanical and electrical components.
- Knowledge and practice of Preventive Maintenance to ensure sustainable functioning of equipment.
- Strong adherence to safety standards and regulations.
- Recognized electrical qualifications such as NVQ Level 3.
- Valid driver’s licence, as travel between sites is required.
- Previous experience in EV charge point installation and maintenance is an advantage but we will provide training to the right candidate.
