As a longstanding leader in solar, EV charging, and battery storage, Joju is seeking to employ an experienced EV Charge Point Maintenance Engineer to support our rapidly growing network of charge points across the UK. With over 8 years in the EV charging market, Joju offers the right candidate a secure role in a dynamic and expanding company.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reactive and planned maintenance of EV charge points ranging from 3kW to 300kW, across public sector, commercial, and fleet sites. You will carry out diagnostics, repairs, replacements, and commissioning of units. A good level of IT competence is required, as most units are software-driven and remote system updates or fault-finding will form part of your role. This position will enhance Joju’s coverage across the Midlands regions and the right candidate will be comfortable travelling to a number of sites each day.

Experience with solar PV systems and battery storage technologies is a strong advantage, as you may also support integrated renewable and smart energy solutions. Occasional overnight stays may be required depending on project locations.

We provide a structured training programme including in-house and external manufacturer training, ensuring you stay up to date with the latest technologies, products, and industry standards.

Maintenance Engineer Requirements
  • 18th Edition BS7671 Wiring Regulations
  • C&G 2391 or 2394/5 (Inspection & Testing)
  • Proven experience in electrical maintenance or servicing (EV charge points preferred)
  • IT competence (diagnostics, remote monitoring platforms, software-driven equipment)
  • Prior experience desirable, but not essential, in solar PV and battery systems
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Able to travel nationwide, with occasional overnight stays
Position Remuneration
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (increasing by 1 day per year up to 28 days + BHs)
  • Company vehicle and fuel card provided
  • Specialist tools, testing equipment, and access equipment provided by Joju
  • Salary dependent on experience
