Your role in the JoJo story…
We are a fun and exciting childrenswear brand based in South London and we are currently looking to expand our pool of freelance photographers available for flexible hours in our London office.
The primary responsibility of this role as an Ecommerce/Product Photographer or Creative Photographer (depending on brief) is to lead in photographic shoots (primarily cutout clothing photography, product photography and ecommerce model fashion photography).
A peek into your daily adventures:
You should be able to work fast and efficiently while maintaining a high-quality standard, and you must have good attention to detail, an eye for styling, good work ethic, and have a strong interest/experience with photography for ecommerce. Whist there may be some creative briefs, most of the work will be \”Non-Creative\” high volume based photographic work with an emphasis on working at an efficient speed whilst maintaining accuracy, and consistency.
Your role would include:
- Shoot high volumes of ecomm cutouts, maintaining consistency and quality
- Clothing/Product organising and prepping
- Clothing/Product Styling (to make items being photographed look neat, appealing or symmetrical where relevant)
- Set up and take down of studio/lighting set up
- Leading and assisting on photographic shoots
- Quality control checks on images
- Image editing and colour check/match images with garments/products ensuring consistent colour accuracy
- Tracking and logging of samples shot
- Collaborate with Head of Brand to produce marketing material including print, web and video content
Skills that make you shine:
- Previous experience working within a similar eCommerce photographic studio or creative agency
- Have 2+ years experience in a similar creative production role
- Highly experienced using Capture One, Photoshop, Mac OS and Canon camera
- Must have exceptional attention to detail and have natural creative flair
- Must be very well organised and able to work unsupervised
- Professional demeanour with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to take initiative and work calmly under pressure
- Ability to organise and prioritise workload, multi-task using effective time management skills
- Ability to change priorities quickly and accept change with a positive attitude
- Excellent interpersonal skills and adaptable to change in a fast-paced work environment
- Experience Photographing high volumes of products per day – up to 70+
- Video skills are also a plus
- Design, Photography or Media related academic background
