Your role in the JoJo story… If you’re ready to begin a fabulous adventure and you’re passionate about retail, we have the perfect role for you. You’ll be the face of JoJo, providing a fantastic level of customer care and service that we are renowned for. You’ll guide, inform, and assist customers in choosing from our huge range of clothing and products, including expectant parents, grandparents, and others.
Our B Corp principles are important, and every member of our teams will uphold them. As we move into a digital retail world, offering an Omni-Channel customer service is expected to build customer loyalty.
Daily responsibilities
- Assisting customers in diverse situations, from bra measuring or maternity wear discussions to demonstrating a baby carrier.
- Preparing Omni-Channel orders.
- Liaising with customers in-store or via phone on Omni-Channel orders.
- Using digital or virtual learning platforms to develop knowledge and retail skills.
- Learning new product knowledge to increase sales opportunities.
- Actively listening to customer needs and identifying the best solution.
- Maintaining an immaculate store appearance.
- Supporting a typical week with 1 x 7.5 hour shift, with flexibility as required by store needs.
Skills and qualifications
- Previous retail, customer service and sales experience.
- Competent IT skills and ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Ability to learn and retain high levels of product information and communicate this effectively.
- Self-developing mindset and curiosity to learn new products independently.
- Demonstrated sales ability with active listening, empathy, and understanding of customer needs (non-hard-sell approach).
- Ability to work harmoniously within a small team.
- Flexibility to work across seven days a week in a retail environment.
- Keen eye for detail and ability to maintain store standards.

- We recruit individuals who are over the school leaver age per England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland requirements.
