Each JoJo store is unique. Our USP is the relationship we build with our customers, many of them loyal to our brand and to their local store team. You’ll be the face of JoJo providing a fantastic level of customer care and service that we are renowned for, guiding, informing, and assisting customers in the purchase of our range of clothing and products.
As a B Corp, every member of our teams upholds these principles. We move into a digital retail world with Omni-Channel customer service to build customer loyalty.
Responsibilities
- Assisting customers in diverse situations, from bra measuring or maternity wear discussions to demonstrating baby carriers.
- Preparing Omni-Channel orders and liaising with customers in store or by phone on Omni-Channel orders.
- Using digital or virtual learning platforms to continuously develop knowledge and retail skills.
- Learning new product knowledge to increase sales opportunities and communicating it effectively to customers.
- Active listening to customers’ needs and identifying the best solutions.
- Maintaining a pristine store appearance and presenting products to standard.
- Be a brand ambassador, safeguarding our values and ethos; demonstrate honesty, respect, collaboration, and ownership of all role aspects.
Typical Hours
A typical week would be 21 hours (2 x 7.5 hours and 1 x 6 hours) with flexibility in line with store requirements.
Skills and Qualifications
- Previous retail, customer service and sales experience.
- Competent IT skills and ability to learn new systems quickly; capacity to retain product information and communicate it effectively.
- Self-driven with a curiosity to learn new products independently.
- Ability to demonstrate sales skills through active listening, empathy, and understanding customer needs (no hard sales pressure).
- Ability to work harmoniously within a small team; flexible with store hours as most stores are open 7 days a week.
- Attention to detail and commitment to store standards.
