Your role in the JoJo story… If you\’re ready to begin a fabulous adventure and you\’re passionate about retail, we have the perfect role for you. Each JoJo store is unique and has a life of its own. Our unique selling point is the relationship we build with our customers, many loyal to our brand and to the local store team. You’ll be the face of JoJo providing a fantastic level of customer care and service, guiding and assisting customers in the correct purchase of our clothing and products.

Our B Corp principles are important, and every member of our team upholds them. As we move into a digital retail world, offering an Omni-Channel customer service is expected to build customer loyalty.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting our customers in diverse situations, from bra measuring or maternity wear discussions to demonstrating a baby carrier to an intrigued parent.
  • Preparing Omni-Channel orders and liaising with customers in-store or via phone on Omni-Channel orders.
  • Using our digital or virtual learning platforms to continuously develop knowledge and retail skills.
  • Embracing new product knowledge to increase sales opportunities.
  • Actively listening to customers’ needs and determining the best solutions for them.
  • Taking pride in keeping the store looking immaculate.
  • Working a typical week of 16 hours (4 x 4 hour shifts), with flexibility in line with store requirements.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Previous retail, customer service and sales experience.
  • Competent IT skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Ability to learn and retain a high level of product information and communicate it effectively to customers.
  • A self-developing mentality and curiosity to learn new products independently.
  • Demonstrated sales ability with active listening, empathy, and an understanding of customer needs (no hard sales pressure).
  • Ability to work harmoniously within a small team and maintain a flexible approach to retail hours (most stores open 7 days a week).
  • Attention to detail to help keep stores looking tip-top.
