You will be the face of JoJo, providing a fantastic level of customer care and service we are renowned for and uphold. Youβll guide, inform, and assist customers in the correct purchase of our large range of clothing and products.
Our B Corp principles are important, and every team member upholds them. As we move into a digital retail world, offering an Omni-Channel customer service is expected to build customer loyalty.
A Typical Day / Responsibilities
- Assist customers in diverse situations, from bra fitting and maternity wear discussions to demonstrating a baby carrier to an intrigued parent.
- Prepare Omni-Channel orders and liaise with customers in store or via phone on Omni-Channel orders.
- Use digital or virtual learning platforms to continuously develop knowledge and retail skills.
- Embrace new product knowledge and learn to increase sales opportunities.
- Actively listen to customer needs and determine the best solution.
- Maintain an immaculate store appearance and environment.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous retail, customer service and sales experience.
- Competent IT skills and ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Ability to learn and retain high levels of product information and communicate this effectively.
- Self-developing mindset and curiosity to learn new products independently.
- Ability to demonstrate sales capability without hard-sell techniques, including active listening, empathy, and understanding customer needs.
- Ability to work harmoniously within a small team and adapt to a flexible retail environment (stores open 7 days a week).
- Keen eye for detail to help keep stores looking tip-top.
Schedule
Typical week: 16 hours (4 x 4 hour shifts); flexibility is required to meet store requirements.
