Purpose of the role
To ensure a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for guests by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the hotel.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and tidy guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
- Change bed linens and make beds.
- Replenish towels, toiletries, and other supplies.
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
- Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards.
- Ensure a high standard of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
- Required Skills And Or Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively in English to follow instructions and ensure safety compliance.
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous housekeeping experience is a plus but not required.
- Terms & Compensation
- This role involves working on a shift basis according to a rota.
- Flexibility is required, as shifts may include early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Full-time & Permanent Contract
- 33 days including Bank Holidays full-time equivalent
- Pension contributions
