Joivy Scotland has established a reputation in Edinburgh as a premium rental management company focusing on adopting a hospitality attitude to property management. JOIVY manages over 160 homes for individual owners, 60 for B2B clients and several apartment hotels. Purpose of the role: To ensure a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for guests by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and tidy guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
- Change bed linens and make beds.
- Replenish towels, toiletries, and other supplies.
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
- Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards.
- Ensure a high standard of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Required skills and or qualifications:
- Ability to communicate effectively in English to follow instructions and ensure safety compliance.
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous housekeeping experience is a plus but not required.
Terms & Compensation: This role involves working on a shift basis according to a rota. Flexibility is required, as shifts may include early mornings, evenings, and weekends. £25,400 per annum for 40 hours per week (excluding lunch breaks), pro-rata if part-time. 33 days including Bank Holidays full-time, pro-rata if part-time. Pension contributions.
