About the Role
The Satellite Site Coordinator will work alongside the Satellite Site Manager & Quality Supervisor and the Quality Manager to set up and ensure continued compliance for the Joint Operations Satellite Site program.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
The key duties and responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
- To act as a HTA Persons Designate (PD) to support the Designated Individual (DI).
- Travel regularly to hospitals across the UK, including occasional overnight stays, to complete job-related tasks.
- Working alongside the Satellite Site Manager & Quality Supervisor and Quality Manager, to assist with the Joint Operations Satellite Site programme.
- As needed, conducting audits to ensure compliance throughout the satellite site service lifecycle.
- Communicating effectively with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure a smooth and successful Quality compliance process.
- Occasionally assist with initial site visit risk assessments.
- Support the preparation, submission, and tracking of HTA applications.
- Order and validate the freezer equipment and temperature monitoring to ensure suitability for the satellite site.
- Work alongside the Allograft Release Supervisor in equipment maintenance at the Satellite Sites to ensure that freezers and fridges used for the storage of tissue are calibrated, monitored, maintained and serviced to nationally recognized standards.
- Roll out training for satellite site staff to ensure they are trained and competent.
- Visit each satellite site monthly to assist hospital staff with stock takes, review and audit documents and clean the freezers.
- Assist with internal and external HTA audits, ensuring documentation, processes, and storage meet regulatory expectations.
- Support the Quality and Operations teams with other Quality related tasks including, but not limited to: Allograft Release, Internal and External Audits, Satellite Site Arrangements, Stock Control and End User Agreements.
Skills & Experience Requirements
The skills and experience requirements for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Educated to degree level in life sciences
- Experience working in an environment with allograft and/or medical devices
- Computer literate with good working knowledge of M365
- Working knowledge of applicable domestic and international guidelines, policies and regulation
- Experience in training
- Desirable – experience of working in the NHS or Healthcare environment
