About the Role
Due to continued investment in leadership development within our Residential Children’s Division - resulting in a number of internal promotions - we are seeking experienced and dynamic Regional Support Managers to join our team. These newly created roles offer a unique opportunity to provide high-level leadership support across multiple homes, ensuring consistency, quality, and stability of care for children and young people. The roles will have regional coverage, and we welcome applications from candidates based across the North, Midlands, and South of the country.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing parachute support to Registered Managers where additional capacity, leadership, or expertise is required
- Conducting audits and delivering coaching and mentoring to drive best practice and continuous improvement
- Providing interim management cover in homes without a Registered Manager, ensuring stability and continuity of care
- Supporting and guiding staff teams to maintain safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environments for children and young people
- Identifying risks early and implementing effective action plans to stabilise and strengthen services
- In exceptional circumstances, supporting with home registration (not an initial expectation of the role)
Essential Requirements
- Relevant professional qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care, or equivalent)
- Extensive experience in a leadership role within children’s residential services, including significant experience managing or supporting the management of residential homes
- Robust knowledge of safeguarding regulations, Ofsted requirements, and relevant legislation
- Strong understanding of therapeutic environments and child-centred care practices
- Proven ability to provide coaching, mentoring, and support to teams in achieving high standards

- Understanding of trauma-informed care and therapeutic approaches
