We are recruiting for Senior Nursery Practitioners* to join our warm and friendly nurseries in Northwood Hills, Eastcote and Pinner.

We are deeply passionate about our ethos and offer in-house training, as well as supporting staff to complete further courses to grow their knowledge.

The children here are high achievers and we are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about teaching and committed to making the learning environment fun and engaging for every child.

Our settings are very accessible via public transport, with bus stops right outside and around around a 7-8 minute walk from the stations which are on the Met Line.

This role is full time, 40 hours per week – working between the hours of 7:30am-6pm.

Us

  • We first opened our Northwood branch in July 2018 and have expanded the nursery twice since opening.
  • We opened our second branch in Eastcote in June 2023.

* We are opening our third branch in Pinner very soon!

  • We are really passionate about the Montessori ethos and we provide in house training as well as supporting staff to complete courses to further their knowledge.

A day as a Senior Nursery Practitioner would include

  • Working as part of a team to ensure the nursery runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Caring for all children and ensuring their personal and hygiene needs are met daily.
  • Creating an environment suitable for the age and stage of the children.
  • Ensuring the children are happy, settled and content.
  • Observing, assessing and planning for the children’s individual needs, ensuring their development is continuously monitored and create opportunities for children to progress.
  • Keeping up to date and informed of legislation in relation to early education and ensure that all paperwork is in keeping with the EYFS and Ofsted Requirements.
  • Becoming familiarised with the nursery's policies and procedures and working within these.
  • Forming professional and friendly partnerships with parents and forming secure relationships with the children.
  • Supporting the Room Leader and Deputy Room Leader in the classroom.

What we would ask from you: A minimum of Level 3 in Childcare is essential.

Previous experience of working in a nursery setting with children under the age of 5 is essential.

An extensive knowledge of the current EYFS.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

To be passionate, motivated, have the ability to work well within a team and be able to adapt to a fun and inspiring way of working
