Joining Careers Education are currently recruiting for a fantastic opportunity for a Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a welcoming and supportive children's nursery based in Loughton.
This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary depending on experience and qualifications.
The Role
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play an important role in providing a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children, supporting their learning, development and wellbeing.
You will work as part of a dedicated nursery team and contribute to creating an engaging environment where children can learn, develop and thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing high-quality care and support to children within the nursery
- Planning and supporting fun, engaging and age-appropriate activities
- Supporting children's learning and development
- Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
- Ensuring safeguarding and health & safety procedures are followed
- Maintaining a safe, clean and stimulating environment
- Supporting children's individual needs and development
- Working effectively as part of a friendly and supportive nursery team
About You
We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with children and is committed to providing excellent care and education.
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years
- Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting
- A genuine passion for supporting children's development
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A caring, patient and positive approach
- A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
