What You’ll Do
- Be responsible for manual quality assurance testing on our web platform
- Perform rigorous test scenarios to ensure thorough validation
- Use exploratory testing to validate usability and uncover unexpected outcomes
- Write clear bug reports for the engineering team
- Support engineering with reproducing bugs you’ve identified
- Keep the team updated on testing progress, QA activities, and blockers
- Ensure the quality of tax automation and optimization services
- Identify quality issues and drive them through to resolution
- Validate that the application UI matches Product team designs
- Use tools to monitor for unexpected visual changes
- Consider the full testing scope: user experience, happy paths, negative testing, edge cases, and browser compatibility
What We’re Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in manual web testing
- University degree or comparable professional qualification in Computer Science, IT, or Software Testing
- Experience designing, implementing, and executing test plans and test cases
- Ability to understand system architecture and apply white-box testing techniques
- Creative, flexible, and dynamic approaches to testing
- Strong knowledge of testing best practices and applying them in CI/CD environments
- Working understanding of REST APIs and how to test them
- Understanding of usability and user experience principles
- Comfortable working independently while managing workload and priorities
- Proven ability to deliver to tight deadlines
- Clear, consistent reporting skills
- Full professional English proficiency (spoken and written)
