We are seeking an experienced, fully qualified Plumber/Heating Engineer with good communication skills and a proven track record in all aspects of plumbing and heating work, ideally in a commercial setting, to join our established multi-trades team.

You will be expected to:

  • Carry out reactive plumbing maintenance, which includes repair and replacement of sanitaryware, pipework, radiators, valves and associated systems;
  • Have a solution focussed approach to diagnose and troubleshoot heating and plumbing issues ensuring timely repairs to minimise disruption;
  • Carry out temperature monitoring, flushing and disinfection regimes and have knowledge of legionella (L8) compliance;
  • Have knowledge of UK plumbing regulations and standards;
  • Have the ability to work independently as well as working with other trades.

We are based in Whitburn; however, we have a large variety of short and longer-term projects throughout Scotland, so travel to other locations should be expected. We offer a very competitive rate of pay, workwear and a fuel card. You should hold a full UK driving licence. A van can be provided after a successful trial period.
