About the Role
This is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional interested in financial sales, private markets, private equity, and business development. You will work directly with senior members of the commercial team and gain hands-on exposure to institutional investors, family offices, RIAs, wealth platforms, and alternative investment managers while helping scale a fast-growing fintech business. The role combines sales, relationship-building, CRM management, market research, conference participation, and commercial operations, providing a strong foundation for a long-term career in institutional sales, investor relations, capital raising, and private markets.
Tasks
- Business Development & Sales: Support outbound business development initiatives targeting institutional investors, wealth managers, family offices, RIAs, and alternative asset managers. Assist with prospecting, lead generation, and sales outreach campaigns across email, LinkedIn, conferences, and other channels. Research prospective clients and identify new business opportunities. Coordinate and track business development activities across the sales pipeline. Participate in client meetings, conference calls, and relationship management initiatives. Develop and maintain relationships with key market participants.
- CRM & Pipeline Management: Maintain CRM data integrity and ensure accurate tracking of client interactions and opportunities. Manage sales workflows and pipeline progression. Monitor lead activity and support timely follow-up processes. Assist with pipeline reporting, forecasting, and sales performance analysis. Track key relationship milestones and engagement metrics.
- Marketing & Commercial Support: Support the creation and distribution of marketing materials and sales collateral. Assist with LinkedIn campaigns, conference communications, and outreach initiatives. Coordinate conference preparation and post-event follow-up activities. Support the development of messaging, presentations, and commercial content.
- Conferences & Industry Events: Attend industry conferences, networking events, and client meetings. Assist with meeting scheduling and event logistics. Conduct attendee research and identify relevant prospects prior to events. Capture market intelligence and relationship-building opportunities from conferences and meetings.
- Reporting & KPIs: Track commercial metrics and key performance indicators. Monitor outreach performance and pipeline activity. Identify trends and opportunities to improve sales effectiveness and operational efficiency.
