We’re looking for a Strategic Project Manager with a strong track record in client-facing, consultative roles, who can operate both strategically and operationally. This role combines two equally important areas of ownership: leading end-to-end implementations for new clients, driving adoption across global accounts, and improving scalable onboarding processes; and acting as a strategic partner to clients and internal teams by owning high-impact projects, shaping solutions, and driving cross-functional initiatives that support long-term client success.
You’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy moving between strategic client conversations and hands-on delivery; you’re equally comfortable advising clients, leading implementations, improving processes, and coordinating internal teams to get things done.
Role Responsibilities
- Provide policy consultation for new and existing clients
- Manage cross-functional projects to ensure timely and successful delivery
- Lead client-facing consultative projects, acting as project owner
- Own the end-to-end implementation process for new accounts (2–10 per month across varying sizes)
- Act as the primary point of contact for onboarding clients
- Guide clients through setup, configuration, integrations, and stakeholder training to drive thorough adoption
- Assess and refine the current implementation process, documenting and iterating on enhancements
- Define clear implementation milestones and success criteria, including tiering across different account types
- Balance implementation workload with ongoing strategic projects to maintain momentum
- Lead initiatives to improve ways of working across individual accounts and the broader Account Management team
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure improvements are adopted across teams
- Contribute product ideas and tool recommendations to support a scalable implementation function
- Represent PerchPeek at internal and external events
- Support RFP processes and participate in client presentations as needed
About You
The type of person we think will be awesome in this role will likely have a track record of the below skills and experience:
- 4+ years’ experience in client-facing roles (e.g. implementation, consulting, customer success, project management, or strategic account roles) ideally working with complex or enterprise clients.
- Experience owning end-to-end client onboarding or implementation projects, including stakeholder management, project planning, configuration/setup, training, adoption, and handover.
- A consultative approach to client partnership, with the confidence to understand client needs, ask thoughtful questions, shape solutions, and guide senior stakeholders through complex decisions.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams at once, keep cross-functional teams aligned, and drive projects through to measurable outcomes.
- Commercial awareness and client empathy, with the ability to spot risks, identify opportunities, and balance what is best for the client with what is scalable for the business.
- A process-improvement mindset, with experience identifying operational gaps, documenting better ways of working, and helping teams adopt scalable processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complexity into clear, practical guidance for clients and internal teams.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity, with the ability to bring structure, momentum, and calm to fast-moving or undefined situations.
While not necessary, we’re especially interested in candidates with the below:
- Experience in global mobility, relocation, HR tech, employee benefits, immigration, or another complex managed service-led industry.
- International experience or experience working with global client stakeholders.
- Familiarity working in, or in close collaboration with, Go-To-Market teams
- Background in process design, strategic project or program management
- Experience supporting RFPs, client presentations, QBRs, or strategic account planning.
- Experience working in high-growth, startup, or scale-up environments.
