Springfield Nursery Ltd: Early Years Nursery Practitioner

Full Time: 37.5 hours per week over 4 days – Permanent position

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, passionate, and committed Early Years Nursery Practitioner / Assistant to join our Team. Successful applicants will need to hold a full and relevant (Level 2 or above) Early Years Childcare qualification or equivalent and will need to be adaptable and flexible due to the nature of the business.

You must be hardworking, motivated, love the outdoors, and be passionate about working within an early years environment. You will be working as part of a team, so it is essential that you have good communication skills.

You will be expected to plan and deliver high-quality play and learning opportunities through a wide range of activities. You will carry out key person responsibilities and communicate effectively with parents through daily and written feedback. You should have a sound working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework with a desire to support and promote individual children, enabling them to achieve their full potential.

Tasks

The team is looking for an Early Years Practitioner to support with the day-to-day safety, care, and education of children aged 0-5 years within our Nursery. You will be responsible for providing high-quality education through observations and planned activities. You will liaise with parents and share information where required.

Requirements

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will need to have a full and relevant Early Years Childcare qualification, the ability to work with a team, good written and oral skills, and the ability to relate, build, and maintain good working relationships with parents/carers and professionals.
