Corylus Planning & Environmental, a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy in the Architecture and Planning industry, is seeking a Landscape Architect to join our dynamic team. With a robust track record of successful planning applications spanning diverse projects such as renewable energy, mineral extraction, restoration, leisure, residential, and rural developments, we offer a unique opportunity to contribute to high-impact initiatives.

Tasks

  • To provide landscape design and landscape management services.
  • To prepare plans, illustrative material and graphic presentations.
  • To liaise directly with clients and to take clients’ instructions.
  • To undertake site survey and analysis work.
  • To undertake landscape design work as instructed by clients and senior members of staff.
  • To present design ideas to clients, planning officers or other interested parties as instructed.
  • To undertake LVIA and ZTV work and prepare relevant reports for inclusion in Environmental Statements.
  • Use of GIS software essential.
  • To prepare reports or other supplementary information in support design work.
  • To prepare landscape management plans.
  • To prepare Specifications, and Contract Drawings and to administer contracts for the implementation of landscape works as directed.
  • To promote the Company and to market the Company’s services.
  • Maintain a programme of CPD.
  • To undertake general office administrative duties and office housekeeping as directed.
  • To undertake any other duties as reasonably requested.

Requirements

  • Degree and/or Masters in Landscape Architecture.
  • Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute or working towards Chartership.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in the public or private sector.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with a can-do attitude.
  • Team player.
  • Full driving licence and use of own car.
