Tasks
- To provide landscape design and landscape management services.
- To prepare plans, illustrative material and graphic presentations.
- To liaise directly with clients and to take clients’ instructions.
- To undertake site survey and analysis work.
- To undertake landscape design work as instructed by clients and senior members of staff.
- To present design ideas to clients, planning officers or other interested parties as instructed.
- To undertake LVIA and ZTV work and prepare relevant reports for inclusion in Environmental Statements.
- Use of GIS software essential.
- To prepare reports or other supplementary information in support design work.
- To prepare landscape management plans.
- To prepare Specifications, and Contract Drawings and to administer contracts for the implementation of landscape works as directed.
- To promote the Company and to market the Company’s services.
- Maintain a programme of CPD.
- To undertake general office administrative duties and office housekeeping as directed.
- To undertake any other duties as reasonably requested.
Requirements
- Degree and/or Masters in Landscape Architecture.
- Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute or working towards Chartership.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in the public or private sector.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a can-do attitude.
- Team player.
- Full driving licence and use of own car.
