We are currently recruiting an experienced Tuner to join our busy Weaving department. This is a full time, permanent post working an average of 38 hours a week over a three-shift rotation (early, late and night shifts). The rate of pay for this role starts from £15.00 per hour, plus shift allowance. A higher starting rate is available for candidates with relevant experience and proven capability.

About the role:

  • Set up weaving machinery according to work tickets and product specifications
  • Maintain and repair machinery, addressing any malfunctions promptly
  • Ensure products meet required quality standards
  • Work with accuracy and attention to detail while achieving required production output
  • Perform manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting
  • Support the production plan by keeping machines running efficiently

About you:

  • Be an experienced Loom Tuner
  • Have the ability to carefully and accurately follow verbal and detailed written instructions
  • Take pride in doing a job well, and never compromise on high standards
  • Be a team player with good communication skills
  • Have a strong mechanical aptitude, with the ability to quickly learn, operate, and maintain machinery
  • Have good colour vision
  • Have a keen eye for detail
  • Be able to work to deadlines
