We are currently recruiting for an AQL Inspector, where you will be responsible for carrying out inspections and making quality decisions on our products, including checking labels, presentation, and dimensions. This is a full-time permanent position working 38 hours per week, 0700 – 1600 Monday to Thursday, and 0700 – 1100 Friday. This role may also include occasional cover on the backshift, working 16:00 – 01:00 Monday to Thursday, which would be discussed in advance. Rate of pay for this role starts from £13.45 per hour.

As an AQL Inspector here at Johnstons of Elgin, you will be conducting detailed inspections on a variety of our products, ensuring that completed inspection records are shared internally and with our customers. You will be working closely with other departments to prioritise inspections and maintain our quality standards and follow established processes to uphold our quality accreditation with our key customer. You will be gaining experience to become confident in making quality decisions following the high standards set by our customers.
